When the valve working condition (pressure and temperature) gets to high standards values the sealing system used is composed by a steel seat with a polymer insert.

The polymer insert is pressure installed in the seat body and then machined to get to the final shape.
Many different polymers are used in this particular market depending on the working conditions, the most used are:

• P.E.E.K.
• Devlon® (Devol Engineering Company Limited)
